Pordenonelegge from 18 to 22 September | 20th Edition | Marcolin is technical sponsor

Marcolin Covering has always been a partner of local culture. This year too, it consolidates its multi-year collaboration with PORDENONELEGGE offering the city welcoming locations for this international event, with spaces dedicated to reading.

Marcolin is pleased to contribute to the growth of a continuously evolving city with its coverings. On the occasion of the 20th edition, it is also participating in the “Progetto Alfabetiere: adotta una lettera” (“Alphabet Project: adopt a letter”).

For its twentieth edition, Fondazione Pordenonelegge is launching an urban furniture concept, the “Alfabetiere – Adotta una lettera” project. This involves creating 26 installations.
Roads, squares, and the historic locations of Pordenonelegge will host all the letters of the alphabet. They will be yellow-colored pillars positioned “in the city, like Hop-o’-My-Thumb’s stones, to find the road again. Letter after letter, word after word, book after book, they form the map of a Pordenone recognized by anyone traversing it, where books and reading are important citizens.[…]
It’s a map of the city redesigned with the letters of the alphabet, a gift signed by the donor, making a discrete and welcome presence. The map will distinguish the city and leave a pleasant trace in the memory of those who follow it “.
At the end, they will have a “second life” in a city park. It’s a way of linking Pordenonelegge even more closely to the city hosting and nurturing it.

Pordenonelegge needs close supporters: companies, private parties, shopkeepers, associations, professional offices, but also individual citizens, families, and friends of the festival.  For this reason, Marcolin is contributing by adopting the letter “M”.

The project is promoted by the Pordenonelegge Foundation in collaboration with the Pordenone Municipality, from an idea of the DM+B & Associati Studio realized by the firm Antoniolli Srl of Pordenone.
